Govegprotien is a single handed concern of Shree Bhavesh Kumar for Gujarat Saurashtra region. Spanned in an area of 50 x150 ft square the farm is only dedicated to Mushroom cultivation and is one of its only kind in Saurashtra region. The farm has a dome where the temperature and other environmental conditions are controlled manually.

The inspiration that led him to take up this endeavor was the debilitating condition of Arthritis that his wife suffered a few years back and was advised by a physician to consume mushrooms. This proved to be a miraculous cure for his wife and so he dedicated himself to the farming of Mushroom after resigning from his business. 

He aspires to increase this mushroom business with the intention to serve and create awareness among the general masses about the health benefits of consuming Mushrooms.

He established the farm with the initial investment of mere 15 lakh rupees and is keen to expand this endeavor to nearby states as well.

He believes in the immense nutritional value of Mushroom.The fact that Mushrooms act as antibacterial, immune system enhancer and cholesterol lowering agents; additionally, they are important sources of bioactive compounds, some mushroom extracts are used to promote human health and are found as dietary supplements.

Bhavesh Kumar ji says that Mushroom cultivation can help reduce vulnerability to poverty and strengthen livelihoods through the generation of a fast yielding and nutritious source of food and a reliable source of income.

He staunchly believes that mushroom cultivation is the most productive and profitable business in India. It is getting popular gradually in India because, in a short time, it converts farmers' hard work into profit. Farmers can use mushroom cultivation as an alternate source of money also.
